Anemometer NRg 40C:
The 40C was one of the first anemometers designed exclusively for the wind industry.
The 40C Anemometer has recorded wind speeds of 96 m/s (214 mph). Their bearings and low moment of inertia permit very rapid response to gusts and lulls. Due to their output linearity, these sensors are ideal for use with various data retrieval systems. A four-pole magnet induces a sine wave voltage into a coil, producing an output signal with frequency proportional to wind speed.
WINDSENSOR P2546-OPR ANEMOMETER
There are two versions of the P2546-OPR sensor: the P2546C-OPR (coil version) and the P2546A-OPR (reed switch). Both versions of the sensor are fully compatible with all Symphonie series data loggers. However, NRG discontinued sales of the P2546A-OPR Anemometer as of July 2017 due to restrictions related to its mercury content. You will need to use Signal Conditioning Modules (SCM) when connecting more than six anemometers to a SymphoniePLUS®3 Data Logger.
NRG S1 ANEMOMETER:
The NRG S1 Anemometer provides a unique balance of high accuracy and low cost, making it ideal for reducing measurement uncertainty in wind resource assessment campaigns as well as power performance tests. A proven bearing system and a rugged, metal body design ensure the sensor will operate reliably for many years, in a variety of environmental conditions.
NRG CLASS 1 ANEMOMETER
The NRG Class 1 Anemometer is a ball-bearing version of our industry-leading NRG 40C Anemometer. That is, it relies upon the same compact external form factor for easy transport and installation. Inside, the patented dual shaft design of the NRG Class 1 protects the bearings from debris and the common impact loads experienced in harsh climates, while the bearings themselves deliver the low friction necessary to achieve certified class 1 performance.
NRG ICEFREE3 HEATED ANEMOMETER
The electrically heated IceFree3 Anemometer's simple, robust design provides a proven and reliable solution in icing environments.
NRG 40H ANEMOMETER
The 40H is based on the NRG 40C Anemometer, one of the first anemometers designed exclusively for the wind industry. This Hall Effect version is engineered for electrically noisy environments and instrumentation that requires a square wave signal. The 40H is most commonly used as a control sensor, either on small wind turbines or to trigger PV tracker stowing in dangerously high winds.
RM YOUNG 27106T VERTICAL ANEMOMETER
Increasingly, wind farm developers and turbine manufacturers are seeking to understand the vertical component of wind velocity. The RM Young 27106T is a precision air speed measurement instrument designed to meet this need. This dynamic sensor responds specifically to the component of air flow that is parallel to the axis of its rotation.
NRG ICEFREE3 HEATED VANE
The IceFree3 Heated Vane’s head is directly connected to a 10K ohms conductive plastic potentiometer located in the main body. When a constant DC excitation voltage is applied to the potentiometer, it produces an analog voltage output directly proportional to the wind direction.
BP20 BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SENSOR
A micro-machined absolute pressure sensor, the BP20 provides a high-level voltage output signal that is proportional to absolute pressure.
RH5X RELATIVE HUMIDITY SENSOR
The RH5X is a low-cost continuous measurement relative humidity sensor.
TIPPING BUCKET RAIN GAUGE
The Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge provides inexpensive and accurate rainfall measuremen
T60 TEMPERATURE SENSOR
This next generation ambient temperature sensor builds on the NRG 110S’s trusted design, offering improved temperature accuracy and long-term reliability in harsh environments.
BP60 BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SENSOR
This next-generation barometric pressure sensor offers significantly improved accuracy over its predecessor, the NRG BP20.
NRG 200M WIND VANE
The 200M Wind Direction Vane features a remarkably accurate sensing element that produces no dead band, achieving lower uncertainty and 360° continuous measurement.
